ispace US in Englewood, Colorado, is seeking a Manager, Lander Manufacturing to lead the team responsible for manufacturing, assembly, and integration of lunar landers, ensuring flight readiness and the highest quality standards.

You will direct a multidisciplinary team, drive MRB and MRIs, and partner with Engineering, Quality, and Program Management to meet program milestones with efficient processes and robust tooling. This hybrid role offers growth in a dynamic space program.

Competenze

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related field, or equivalent experience.
• 7+ years in development, manufacturing, assembly, or integration of aerospace systems.
• Experience leading technical teams in a manufacturing environment.
• Strong understanding of aerospace manufacturing processes and testing methodologies.
• Ability to interpret drawings, 3D models, and specifications.
• Experience developing manufacturing processes and production plans for complex hardware.
• Ability to identify challenges and drive execution in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong organizational and communication skills with accountability and collaboration.

Mansioni

• Lead and develop a multidisciplinary manufacturing team.
• Oversee manufacturing, assembly, integration, and testing for flight hardware.
• Lead Manufacturing Readiness Reviews (MRR) and participate in PDR/CDR and other milestones.
• Drive Design for Manufacturability (DFM) with Engineering.
• Develop and maintain build sequences, work instructions, and production documentation.
• Oversee inventory management in the MRP system.
• Direct design and fabrication of MGSE, fixtures, and tooling.
• Collaborate with Systems Engineering on requirements, risk assessments, and reviews.
• Identify and resolve manufacturing challenges to minimize schedule impact.
• Establish and maintain manufacturing processes, revision control, and MRB training.
• Develop training programs to strengthen team capabilities.
• Drive Lean manufacturing and value stream mapping for continuous improvement.
• Support facility improvements, equipment selection, and production layout planning.
