Blue Origin is seeking an engineer for the GN&C Modeling & Simulation team in the Lunar Permanence unit. You will work on tools and models for spacecraft simulations across Earth to Moon missions, collaborating with subsystems to validate performance and interfaces.

The role emphasizes software-in-the-loop, hardware-in-the-loop, and on-vehicle simulations, with a focus on high-quality engineering and collaborative culture. U.S. citizenship or equivalent work eligibility is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Aerospace, Physics, Applied Math, or Computer Science.
• 2+ years of software development with C/C++, Rust, and Simulink.
• Experience modeling GN&C components and validating via simulation.
• U.S. citizen or eligible to work in the U.S.

Responsibilities

• Develop tools to design, build, deploy and support our simulation infrastructure.
• Develop and integrate multidisciplinary models for multi-vehicle simulation using C/C++, Rust, Simulink, and NASA’s TRICK.
• Deliver simulations to customers to inform decisions and ensure requirements are met.
• Interact with engineers across disciplines to validate models.
