Blue Origin is seeking a Fluids Analyst in Huntsville to own the Gas Subsystem design for the Lunar Transfer Stage. You will build transient models and guide hardware optimization from concept through operations.

The role requires 3+ years in thermal/fluids analysis, proficiency with Thermal Desktop FloCAD and Sinda/Fluint, and strong FORTRAN skills. Spacecraft experience is a plus, and multiple benefits accompany this position.

Qualifications

• B.S. in Mechanical or Aerospace Engineering or related field.
• 3+ years of thermal/fluids analysis experience.
• Proficiency in Thermal Desktop FloCAD and Sinda/Fluint with FORTRAN skills.
• Knowledge of Fluid Mechanics, Heat Transfer and Thermodynamics.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain transient fluids simulation models of the gas subsystem.
• Provide guidance on hardware optimization and mission operations.
• Lead trade studies across Gas Subsystem and related areas.
• Define requirements and plan verification testing for hardware.
