You will size components, create specifications, perform trade studies, and generate P&IDs using AutoCAD, collaborating with suppliers and Blue Origin teams.

The role emphasizes qualification tests, procurement support, and delivering hardware on schedule and within cost targets, reporting to a senior engineer on the Gas & Thrusters team. U.S.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in mechanical or aerospace engineering.
• 5+ years in aerospace fluid/mechanical design.
• Experience with 3D CAD (Creo preferred).
• Knowledge of gas systems and fluid components.
• Proficient in GD&T (ASME Y14.5).

Responsibilities

• Fluids sub-assembly design and procurement coordination.
• Develop specifications for fluid/gas components.
• Maintain interface definitions between fluid and vehicle subsystems.
• Design and analyze fluid, thermal, and structural components.
• Verify components against company standards.
