Blue Origin is seeking an experienced analyst to perform thermal and fluids analyses for the MK1 Fluids subsystem. You will work through the full development lifecycle, from design through build, test and integration, contributing to system-level trades and documenting results for stakeholders.

The role emphasizes model validation against test data, post-processing conclusions, and presenting findings in formal design reviews. Eligible candidates must be a U.S. citizen or lawful resident.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in mechanical or aerospace engineering.
• Minimum 3+ years of thermal/fluids analysis experience.
• Experience with thermo-fluids 0D-1D modeling using Thermal Desktop Sinda/Fluint.
• Understanding of Fluid Mechanics, Heat Transfer, and Thermodynamics.
• Hands-on experience with first-order and Excel-level fluids calculations.
• Proven track record generating analysis results to support technical trades.
• Must be a U.S. citizen or national, U.S. permanent resident (current Green Card holder), or lawfully admitted into the U.S. as a refugee or granted asylum.

Responsabilités

• Generate and present design review and trade study content for future SNs to subsystem and vehicle partners.
• Support development of new or modifying existing thermo-fluid analysis models to represent vehicle configuration, latest interface conditions, and behaviors.
• Post process analysis results to draw engineering conclusions from output data.
• Author and publish analysis reports in Windchill to support engineering decision making.
