Job summary

Blue Origin’s Core Avionics team in the Lunar Permanence division seeks an avionics hardware engineer to contribute to C&DH and PMAD hardware for lunar vehicles. You will define interfaces, support hardware build, integration and test, and help shape verification strategies across the product life cycle.

You will conduct requirements development, verification planning, root-cause analysis, and mitigation planning for hardware issues, with opportunities to work across multiple technical functions

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science Degree in Electrical, Computer, Aerospace, or related field.
• Avionics hardware build and test experience.
• Experience with requirements development and verification.
• Familiarity with integrated systems verification and test plans.
• Experience with MIL-STD/DO-160/AR P-4754/DO-254/DO-178 standards is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Support C&DH and PMAD Responsible Engineers in avionics box lifecycle development.
• Perform hardware build, integration, and test of EDU and flight hardware.
• Conduct verification and qualification activities.
• Develop requirements and interface definitions.
• Perform root cause analyses and mitigation planning for hardware failures.
