Job summary

Blue Origin LLC seeks an avionics hardware engineer to contribute to Lunar Permanence avionics components. You will work with a team to define interfaces and verify hardware across EDU and flight builds, focusing on safety, reliability, and flight readiness.

Candidates should have a BS in an engineering field and hands-on experience with avionics hardware design, testing, and verification. Relocation is provided; travel up to 20% may be required, with on-site work in Kent, WA.

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree in a related engineering field is required.
• Experience building and testing avionics hardware and flight hardware.
• Strong requirements development and verification skills.

Responsibilities

• Support C&DH and PMAD HW engineers across EDU and flight hardware.
• Develop and execute verification and qualification tests.
• Define interfaces, perform root-cause analyses, implement mitigations.
