Parr Lumber Company in Raleigh Hills, OR is hiring for a Lumber Yard Associate to safely load orders, stock inventory, and keep the yard organized. This full-time role operates in all weather conditions and involves forklift use, customer interaction, and adherence to safety procedures.

Qualifications

• OSHA forklift license preferred.
• Ability to speak, write, and read English required.
• Knowledge of receiving/inventory control principles and processes.
• Knowledge of dimension lumber and panel products and other building materials.
• Ability to read and interpret picking tickets and invoices.
• Ability to concentrate and maintain accuracy in a busy environment.
• General familiarity with power tools.

Responsibilities

• Safely and efficiently load customer vehicles with orders of building materials.
• Complete paperwork as per company policy and inventory records.
• Receive delivered inventory and inspect paperwork for accuracy.
• Inspect stock and returned items for salability and quality.
• Store materials in designated locations and maintain yard cleanliness.
• Operate forklift safely and perform daily lift inspections.
• Greet customers and provide product knowledge and assistance.
• Pull orders and stage for will calls.
