Job summary

Central Network Retail Group, LLC is seeking Yard Associates to provide excellent customer service in the yard and warehouse while handling merchandise and supporting deliveries to homeowners and job sites.

Responsibilities include forklift operation, loading and unloading, assisting drivers, and maintaining safety and inventory accuracy. A high school diploma and forklift certification are preferred, with physical ability to lift up to 100 lbs.

Qualifications

• Forklift certification and operation experience.
• Delivery experience handling merchandise and customers.
• Proficiency in basic math for transactions and measurements.
• Strong reading, writing and speaking communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers entering the yard or warehouse.
• Operate forklift to merchandise and stock yard/warehouse.
• Assist truck drivers with deliveries to homes and job sites.
• Load materials into customer vehicles and delivery trucks.
• Develop knowledge of equipment like forklifts and pallet jacks.
• Unload freight carefully to prevent damage.
• Prepare loads for delivery and verify quantities.
• Identify shortages and report to management.
• Maintain clean yard and warehouse conditions.
• Assist cashiers and staff with customer needs.
• Support contractor sales counter functions.
