Job summary

Central Network Retail Group, LLC is seeking Yard Associates to provide excellent customer service, handle merchandise, and assist with loading/unloading in the yard and at the warehouse.

Responsibilities include greeting customers, operating forklifts, assisting delivery drivers, and ensuring accurate loading according to POS records. A strong focus on safety, asset protection, and teamwork is essential for success in this role.

Qualifications

• Forklift certification required or preferred.
• Delivery experience is preferred.
• Experience dealing with the public is required.
• Strong math skills needed for loading invoices and quantities.
• Reading, writing and speaking skills sufficient for daily work.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers or contractors in a friendly manner at the yard or warehouse entry.
• Operate forklift to merchandise and stock yard and warehouse.
• Assist truck drivers in delivering merchandise to homes and job sites using company equipment.
• Load materials into customers' vehicles or company delivery vehicles, validating type and quantity from POS records.
• Develop expertise in forklift operation and warehouse equipment.
• Unload incoming freight without damaging goods or equipment.
• Prepare loads for delivery and keep yard/warehouse clean and orderly.
• Assist cashiers and staff with customer needs at the sales counter as needed.
• Perform other duties as assigned by the store manager.
