Job summary

R.P. Lumber Co. in Iowa is seeking a Lumber Yard/Delivery Associate to provide prompt, courteous service and to build loads for delivery in the yard and at job sites.

You will operate a forklift, load materials, perform deliveries with company vehicles, and maintain safety and cleanliness of the yard and fleet.

This role requires outdoor work, ability to lift up to 100 pounds, and a flexible schedule including weekends and holidays.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Valid Iowa driver's license and medical certificate.
• 1 year of related work experience preferred.
• Flexibility to work weekends and holidays.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers and load materials for customers or deliveries.
• Operate forklift to stock yard and merchandise.
• Deliver merchandise to homes and job sites using company vehicles.
• Maintain safety and cleanliness of vehicles and yard.
• Assist management in inventory and merchandising.
