Job summary

Gillman Home Center in Seymour, IN is seeking a Delivery Driver/Lumber Yard Associate to deliver excellent customer service while assisting in lumber yard operations. You will load/unload materials, assist customers, and ensure safe, efficient deliveries.

The role requires a valid driver’s license and the ability to lift up to 80 lbs, with a full-time day shift and up to 40 hours weekly. Benefits include medical, dental, vision, 401k, and paid time off.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED.
• 1-2 years of customer service experience preferred.
• Valid driver's license; For-Hire Endorsement not required but preferred. Must obtain for this position.
• Forklift experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide excellent service to customers.
• Assist customers loading and unloading lumber and building materials, and build loads as needed.
• Deliver materials to homes and job sites and plan efficient routes.
• Operate trucks and equipment with attention to safety and accuracy.
• Perform routine inspections and upkeep of equipment and logs as required.
