Gillman Home Center in Seymour, IN seeks a Lumber Yard Associate to provide excellent customer service and support yard operations, including loading materials, assisting customers, and deliveries to job sites.

This full-time role requires lifting up to 80 lbs, operating trucks and equipment, conducting routine maintenance, aiding in inventory counts, and upholding safety and company policies.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 1-2 years of customer service preferred.
• Valid driver’s license required.
• Forklift experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Greet and assist customers; resolve questions with management.
• Assist loading/unloading lumber and materials.
• Operate trucks and equipment and deliver materials to homes and job sites.
• Perform routine equipment checks and minor maintenance.
• Help with inventory and cycle counts; maintain yard cleanliness.
• Follow store policies and safety procedures.
