Job summary

Gillman Home Center in Indiana is seeking a CDL Driver/Lumber Yard Associate to transport lumber and materials to job sites and support customers in the yard. This full-time role reports to the Shelbyville store and requires a Class B CDL, DOT card, and dependable driving.

You will load and unload materials, operate trucks and forklifts, plan efficient routes, maintain safety practices, and assist other departments as needed. Typical schedule is Monday through Friday, 7am to 4pm.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; CDL-B endorsement preferred.
• Valid DOT medical card and Class B CDL required for driving.
• Forklift experience and knowledge of lumber materials preferred.
• 1-2 years of customer service experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Load and unload lumber and materials for customers and deliveries.
• Drive trucks and operate forklift; deliver materials to job sites.
• Plan routes for efficient time and fuel usage; ensure safety.
• Assist in yard duties and support other departments as needed.
