Lezzer Lumber, a family-owned building materials supplier, seeks a Bethel Park-based Yard Associate to support delivery orders, loading, unloading, and yard organization. The role emphasizes accuracy, safety, and customer service in daily operations at the yard.

The successful candidate will assist in loading, unloading, stocking, and housekeeping, with a focus on order accuracy and timely delivery to customers. Training and opportunities for advancement are available within the company.

Qualifications

• Basic reasoning and safety awareness for loading and yard tasks.
• Ability to perform basic math to verify orders and incoming freight.
• Knowledge of common building materials to support yard operations.

Responsibilities

• Prepare customer delivery orders and load on the delivery vehicle.
• Unload incoming freight, count and store stock in designated areas.
• Identify, tag, and store incoming special-order merchandise.
• Assist in loading vehicles and delivering orders to customers.
• Maintain yard housekeeping and safety practices; report hazards to supervisor.
