Job summary

Lezzer Lumber is seeking a Yard Associate to support delivery orders, loading/unloading, and yard maintenance at our Pennsylvania locations. You will verify merchandise, assist customers, and help keep the yard organized and safe.

Ideal candidates have forklift certification, basic math skills, and a customer-service mindset, with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle physical tasks daily.

Qualifications

• Forklift certification required or obtainable on site.
• Strong basic math and measurement skills for counting and order quantities.
• Knowledge of basic building materials and yard functions.
• Experience in a fast-paced retail lumber or hardware environment is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Prepares customer delivery orders and loads on delivery vehicle.
• Unloads incoming freight, verifies counts, and stores stock.
• Identifies, tags, and stores incoming merchandise; keeps yard organized.
• Assists in loading vehicles and delivers yard merchandise as needed.
• Performs general yard housekeeping and safety practices.
