Job summary

Lezzer Lumber seeking a Yard Associate - Delivery Driver in Bethel Park, PA to load, deliver, and service customer orders using our fleet. You will handle various delivery vehicles, ensure safety, and maintain accurate delivery documents. Strong customer service and knowledge of lumber are essential.

The role requires an active driver’s license, ability to lift heavy items, and adherence to DOT and company safety standards. We offer competitive pay and benefits with opportunities for advancement.

Qualifications

• Active driver’s license required; medical card.
• Must pass pre-employment drug screen and random testing.
• Ability to do basic math for material distribution.
• Knowledge of lumber and building materials.
• Ability to load/unload and operate delivery vehicles safely.

Responsibilities

• Load deliveries and prepare orders for shipment.
• Deliver customer orders safely and accurately.
• Operate various location vehicles (flatbeds, pickups, etc.).
• Provide courteous service to customers and on-site staff.
• Complete delivery invoices and vehicle documents (fuel, DOT inspections).
• Report unsafe conditions, incidents, or maintenance needs to Dispatcher/Yard Manager.
• Perform daily yard housekeeping and assist with yard organization.
• Verify and return customer merchandise to yard per instructions.
