Job summary

Parr Lumber Company in Bend, Oregon, is seeking a Lumber Assistant Manager to support the General Manager in daily operations, personnel management, and customer relations. This role guides a team to deliver Legendary Service and efficiency in a fast-paced lumberyard environment.

The position reports to the General Manager and requires a strong leadership presence, safety adherence, and a focus on continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 3 years of supervisory/management experience.
• Knowledge of lumber and plywood purchasing principles and practices.
• Knowledge of home and commercial construction principles.
• OSHA Forklift Certification required.
• Class C driver’s license with clean driving record.
• Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook.
