Job summary

PARR is seeking a Lumber Assistant Manager in Bend, OR to support the General Manager in daily operations, people leadership, and customer relations. The role focuses on delivering Legendary Service and maintaining efficient store performance across both front and yard operations.

The ideal candidate will have 3 years of supervisory experience, a strong knowledge of lumber purchasing, and proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 3 years supervisory/management experience.
• Ability to read/write English.
• Knowledge of lumber and plywood purchasing principles.
• Must operate PC, smartphone, scanner and related equipment.
• OSHA forklift certification or ability to obtain.

Responsibilities

• Lead and mentor a high-performing team with clear expectations.
• Drive safety, policy adherence and professional conduct.
• Oversee daily operations, budgets, and efficiency improvements.
• Foster strong customer and vendor relationships.
