Job summary

Lithia & Driveway is seeking a Lube Technician at Priority Ford Norfolk. This role requires diagnosing vehicle concerns and performing maintenance while documenting results and labor time.

You’ll work with a team known for knowledgeable, helpful service and have opportunities to build repeat business at a full-service Ford dealership. Open availability, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, is required to support peak demand.

Qualifications

• High School graduate or equivalent; 18 years or older required.
• A driver’s license with acceptable driving record is required.
• Work environment includes a drug-free workplace.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose vehicle concerns and perform maintenance and repairs per repair orders and Lithia standards.
• Document all diagnostics, repairs, test results and labor time accurately.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe workspace and properly care for tools and equipment.
• Complete required training and maintain manufacturer and ASE certifications, while communicating with service teams.

• Schedule: This position requires open availability to support dealership operations and customer demand. Successful candidates will be available to work a flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, as these are peak sales periods and key opportunities for maximizing earnings.

What You’ll Do

• Diagnose vehicle concerns and complete maintenance and repairs accurately, efficiently, and according to repair orders, manufacturer guidelines, and Lithia standards.

• Document all diagnostic procedures, repairs performed, test results, and labor time accurately using dealership systems and timekeeping procedures.

• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area while properly caring for tools, equipment, shop supplies, and customer vehicles.

• Complete required technical training, maintain applicable manufacturer and ASE certifications, and communicate with service advisors, technicians, and dealership leadership.
