Job summary

Lithia Ford of Klamath Falls is seeking a Lube Technician to join our service team. You will perform routine lubrication and service work, diagnose issues, and ensure repairs meet Lithia and manufacturer standards.

A strong interest in automotive repair and basic mechanical knowledge are key, with opportunities to grow within the department. You will work Tuesday through Saturday, 8:00am to 5:00pm, at our Klamath Falls location, earning $17.00 per flat rate hour.

Qualifications

• Basic mechanical knowledge or previous automotive experience.
• Attention to detail and a commitment to quality work.
• Reliable attendance and a team-oriented mindset.
• Follow safety procedures and manufacturer guidelines.
• Acceptable driving record and a valid driver's license in your state of residence.

Responsibilities

• Perform work as outlined on repair order with efficiency and accuracy per Lithia and manufacturer standards.
• Diagnose cause of malfunction.
• Complete all work according to applicable safety requirements.
• Road-test vehicles to ensure quality of repair work.
• Accurately record time spent repairs using company time clocking procedures.
• Document work performed on repair orders and test procedures/results.
• Maintain an organized and clean workspace; perform stall cleaning daily.
• Ensure vehicles are returned to customers clean and ready.
• Complete all required training.
• Acquire and maintain manufacturer and ASE certifications by completing training.
• Participate in and utilize technical training as assigned by management.

What You’ll Do

• Ensure that customer’s vehicles are returned to them as clean as they were prior to being serviced.
• Complete all required training
• Acquire and maintain manufacturer and ASE certifications by completing the necessary and required training
• Participate in and utilize technical training as assigned by management
