Job summary

Mike Savoie Volkswagen is seeking an experienced Automotive Lube Technician to join our Metro Detroit service team. You will perform routine maintenance including oil changes, tire rotations, and multi-point inspections, ensuring dealer and factory standards are met.

From day one, you will inspect and refill fluids, monitor tire pressure, and document any concerns to shop personnel. A strong work ethic and teamwork are valued in our fast-paced shop.

Responsibilities

• Perform vehicle maintenance such as oil changes, tire rotations, and multi-point inspections according to dealer and factory standards.
• Inspect and refill fluids to the appropriate level.
• Ensure tire pressure is correct and fittings are lubricated as needed.
• Communicate vehicle concerns to appropriate shop personnel.
• Maintain efficiency and accuracy when working on vehicles.

Responsibilities

• Performing vehicle maintenance such as oil changes, tire rotations, and multi-point vehicle inspections in accordance with dealer and factory standards.
• Inspect and refill fluids to the appropriate level
• Ensure tire pressure for proper inflation, clean and lubricate fittings as needed
• Communicate any vehicle concerns to appropriate shop personnel
• Maintain efficiency and accuracy when working on vehicles
• Inspect for and document any worn parts ahead of the vehicle’s breakdown or damage
• Use power tools, machine tools, and common hand tools to perform various tasks

• High School Diploma or GED (preferred)
• Dependable team player with a good attitude
• One year in a service department (preferred)
