Mike Savoie Volkswagen is seeking an experienced Automotive Lube Technician to join our growing dealership in the Metro Detroit area. We value dedication, hard work and integrity, offering a great environment for career growth in the automotive industry.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED preferred.
• One year in a service department preferred.
• Valid driver's license with acceptable driving record.

Responsibilities

• Perform vehicle maintenance such as oil changes, tire rotations, and multi-point inspections per dealer and factory standards.
• Inspect and refill fluids to the appropriate level.
• Ensure proper tire pressure, clean and lubricate fittings as needed.
• Communicate any vehicle concerns to appropriate shop personnel.
• Maintain efficiency and accuracy when working on vehicles.
• Inspect for and document worn parts ahead of breakdown or damage.
• Use power tools, machine tools, and common hand tools to perform tasks.
