Mike Savoie Chevrolet in Troy, MI is seeking an experienced Automotive Lube Technician to join a family-owned dealership focused on growth, integrity, and employee development. The role involves servicing vehicles, inspecting fluids, and communicating concerns to the shop team in a fast-paced, supportive environment.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED preferred
• One year in a service department preferred
• Valid driver's license with clean record
• Dependable with good attitude
• Strong analytical and communication abilities

Responsibilities

• Test to check systems and components are secure and working properly
• Inspect and refill fluids to the appropriate level
• Ensure tire pressure and inflate properly
• Replace oil and filter and perform multi-point inspection
• Communicate vehicle concerns to shop personnel
• Maintain efficiency and accuracy while working on vehicles
• Inspect for worn parts ahead of breakdown
• Use power and hand tools to perform tasks

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Test to check systems and components are secure and working properly
• Inspect and refill fluids to the appropriate level
• Ensure tire pressure for proper inflation, clean and lubricate fittings as needed
• Replace oil and filter as well as complete proper multi-point vehicle inspection
• Communicate any vehicle concerns to appropriate shop personnel
• Maintain efficiency and accuracy when working on vehicles
• Inspect for and document any worn parts ahead of the vehicle’s breakdown or damage
• Use power tools, machine tools, and common hand tools to perform various tasks

QUALIFICATIONS

• Effective analytical and communication skills
• Eagerness to improve
• High School Diploma or GED (preferred)
• Dependable team player with a good attitude
• One year in a service department (preferred)
• Valid driver’s license and acceptable driving record
