Job summary

Lithia & Driveway is seeking a Service Technician at L0414 Suburban Ford of Ferndale to diagnose vehicle concerns and perform maintenance and repairs accurately and efficiently per repair orders and manufacturer guidelines.

You’ll document diagnostics, repairs, test results, and labor times in dealership systems, maintain a clean and safe work area, and pursue required training to maintain ASE certifications while communicating effectively with service advisors and the leadership team.

Qualifications

• High School graduate or equivalent.
• 18 years or older required.

What You’ll Do:

• Diagnose vehicle concerns and complete maintenance and repairs accurately, efficiently, and according to repair orders, manufacturer guidelines, and Lithia standards.
• Document all diagnostic procedures, repairs performed, test results, and labor time accurately using dealership systems and timekeeping procedures.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area while properly caring for tools, equipment, shop supplies, and customer vehicles.
• Complete required technical training, maintain applicable manufacturer and ASE certifications, and communicate effectively with service advisors, technicians, and dealership leadership.
