Job summary

Lithia & Driveway is seeking a Lube Technician to join our service team. You will perform oil changes, tire rotations, and multipoint inspections, while maintaining fluids and documenting results. You’ll support shop maintenance and pursue ASE certifications as directed by management.

We value a willing, trainable candidate with at least 1 year of dealership or quick-lube experience, comfortable with computers and a high-volume, customer-focused environment.

Qualifications

• 1+ year of automotive experience in a dealership or quick lube environment.
• Desire to produce and be part of a high-output team.
• Comfort operating several cars, light trucks and vans, with both manual and automatic transmissions.
• Working knowledge of computers and dealership technologies.
• Willingness to participate in professional development to stay current and grow with us.

Responsibilities

• Perform oil and filter changes, tire rotations, and multipoint vehicle inspections.
• Check and maintain fluid levels (transmission, brake, power steering, coolant).
• Inspect tires, brakes, batteries, belts, hoses and other components for wear and safety.
• Document work performed on repair orders and test procedures/results.
• Assist with shop maintenance and support the service team as directed.
• Acquire and maintain manufacturer and ASE certifications as directed by management.
• Communicate with dealership personnel to satisfy customer needs.
