Lithia's Grants Pass Auto Center is seeking a Lube Technician to perform repairs and maintenance on Chrysler, Dodge, Jeep, and Ram vehicles in a fast-paced service department.

You will diagnose issues, road-test vehicles, and record work accurately while maintaining a clean workspace and following safety guidelines. A positive, team-oriented attitude and a valid driver\'s license are required.

Responsibilities

• Perform work as outlined on repair orders with efficiency and accuracy, per standards.
• Diagnose cause of malfunctions and complete work per safety requirements.
• Road-test vehicles to ensure quality of repair work.
• Record time spent on repairs using time clocking procedures.
• Document work performed on repair orders and test procedures/results.
• Maintain organized inventory of standard tools and keep workspace clean.

Schedule: We ask that you have open availability to support dealership operations and customer demand. You will need to be available to work a flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.

What You'll Do

• Perform work as outlined on repair order with efficiency and accuracy, in accordance with Lithia and manufacturer standards
• Diagnose cause of malfunction Complete all work according to the applicable safety requirements
• Road-test vehicles to ensure quality of repair work
• Accurately record time spent repairs utilizing company time clocking procedures
• Document work performed on repair order and document test procedures/results
• Responsible for providing and maintaining an inventory of normal mechanics tools to include screwdrivers, wrenches, socket wrenches, pliers, hammers, chisels and punches, and other tools needed to perform the work for which the technician is trained and not normally inventoried by the service department as "special tools."
• Maintain an organized and clean workspace, completing a stall cleaning every day.
