Job summary

Linder Turf & Tractor is seeking a parts counter associate in Florida to assist customers at the parts counter or by phone. You will process purchase orders, use manuals and data to identify required parts, contact vendors, and verify invoices for accuracy.

The role requires basic AA-level education, strong computer skills, and excellent interpersonal abilities to serve customers and support the service department. Equality in employment is practiced.

Responsibilities

• Complete purchase orders and related documentation accurately and in a timely manner.
• Utilize industry data - including manuals and electronic data - to determine specific parts needed by customers, as well as diagnostic assistance to customers.
• Contact vendors to order parts.
• Review invoices to ensure parts received accurately reflect parts ordered on original requisition forms.
• Store parts in designated area and issue parts to service department/customers as needed.
• Maintain records of parts received and distributed; inventory parts in warehouse periodically.

Job Description:

Provides assistance to customers who wish to purchase parts at the parts counter or via telephone. Orders, receives and distributes equipment parts on behalf of customers.

Education/Experience/Skill:

• Associate Degree (AA) or equivalent from two-year college/technical school or equivalent combination of education and experience

• Excellent interpersonal skills
• Ability to read and interpret documents such as operating and maintenance instructions and procedural manuals
