Job summary

Express Logistics, Inc. is seeking a detail-oriented logistics professional in Des Moines, IA. The role involves quoting LTL shipments, booking and dispatching, and maintaining accurate shipment data across our TMS.

You will verify freight classes, NMFC codes, and accessorials, track status, and resolve billing issues while collaborating with Account Managers to grow LTL volume. The ideal candidate has a High School Diploma or GED and at least 1 year of LTL experience in a freight brokerage,

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 1+ years of LTL experience at a freight broker, 3PL, LTL carrier or shipper.
• Strong working knowledge of freight classes, NMFC, density and common accessorials.
• Experience with LTL rating tools and carrier portals.

Responsibilities

• Quote LTL shipments across our carrier network and recommend the best option on cost and service.
• Book and dispatch shipments and prepare accurate bills of lading.

Day in The Life

• Quote LTL shipments across our carrier network and recommend the best option on cost and service.
• Book and dispatch shipments and prepare accurate bills of lading.

Requirements

Education/Work Experience
