Job summary

Wavepoint in the United States is seeking an LTL Manager to lead a team of LTL Specialists within our Brokerage Division, driving operational excellence, customer satisfaction, and profitability.

This role focuses on strengthening carrier and customer relationships, optimizing processes through technology and analytics, and expanding our LTL service capabilities to deliver best-in-class results in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of LTL brokerage or transportation operations experience.
• Experience leading cross-functional teams is preferred.
• Strong knowledge of pricing, tariffs, routing, and LTL software platforms.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop a team of LTL Specialists to meet service, margin, and efficiency goals.
• Build partnerships with LTL carriers to improve pricing, service levels, and coverage.
• Collaborate with customers on capacity, rates, and problem solving.
• Leverage TMS and analytics to improve visibility and reduce costs.
• Monitor margins, service performance, and carrier utilization for improvements.
• Coordinate with brokerage, operations, and sales to align expectations and execution.
• Support initiatives by adopting new tech or carrier programs.
• Oversee carrier onboarding and compliance with standards.
• Forecast volume trends and plan capacity accordingly.
