Job summary

CAP Services is seeking an assistant in New London, WI to support classroom activities and implement developmentally appropriate curricula. The role requires high school completion, two ECE courses, and six months of related experience. CPR/AED and Abusive Head Trauma training must be obtained prior to hire.

Qualifications

Job description

Work site: New London, WI
Start Date:As soon as possible
Starting Pay:$15.41-$16.95 per hour, depending on experience
Status:16 hours per week, part year

Duties: Assist the teacher in preparing and conducting classroom activities which provide a developmentally age and stage appropriate curriculum, utilizing developmentally appropriate practices as outlined in the Program’s philosophy and Creative Curriculum.
Minimum Qualifications:

• Completion of high school or equivalent.
• Completion of two courses in Early Childhood Education through an institute of higher education.
• Six months’ related work experience working in Early Childhood.
• Must obtain and maintain a current certificate of completion for infant and child cardiopulmonary resuscitation w/AED (CPR) within 2 months of hire.
• Certificate of completion of Abusive Head Trauma training prior to working at the center.

Must be able to work effectively with multi-cultural children and families.
