Job summary

CAP Services in New London, WI is seeking a Classroom Assistant to support the Classroom Manager in preparing and conducting lesson plans that provide a developmentally appropriate curriculum using the Creative Curriculum.

Qualifications include an Associate Degree in Child Care and Development with one year of classroom experience, or a CDA with two years’ experience with children ages 0–5. Must provide transcripts and be able to work with a diverse population.

Qualifications

• Two -year Associate Degree in Child Care and Development through a technical college and one year of classroom experience which includes working directly with children ages 0-5.
• Child Development Associate Credential (CDA) or a Registry Level of 6 or greater and two years of experience which includes working directly with children ages 0-5.

Responsibilities

• Responsibilities include assisting the Classroom Manager in preparing and conducting lesson plans providing a developmentally age- and stage-appropriate curriculum using developmentally appropriate practices.

Two-year Associate Degree in Child Care and Development (technical college) and one year of classroom experience with children ages 0-5

CDA or Registry Level 6+ and two years of experience with children ages 0-5

Status: Full time, 40 hours per week, part year
