Job summary

Symetra is seeking a dedicated LTD Case Manager to make timely, accurate long-term disability decisions and coordinate data from clinical, vocational, and other sources. You will evaluate information against contract terms, document in the claim system, and communicate clearly with internal and external contacts.

Qualifications

• 2-5 years of LTD experience is required.
• Customer service experience required.
• Ability to interpret policy language.

Responsibilities

• Make timely, accurate LTD new and ongoing claim decisions. Collect relevant information from clinical, vocational, employer, and financial sources.
• Assess information against contract terms and applicable procedures; document thoroughly in the claim system.
• Communicate clearly in writing and verbally; adhere to operational standards and regulatory requirements.
