Job summary

RTX is seeking a Lead Systems Engineer in the LTAMDS program, based onsite in the U.S. The role supports the Office of the Chief Engineer to ensure technical execution and system compliance with contract requirements.

You will collaborate across disciplines to troubleshoot issues, analyze data, and implement solutions that impact mission-critical defense systems. Strong leadership and cross-functional coordination are essential.

Qualifications

• Typically requires a STEM degree and 10+ years of relevant experience.
• Minimum of 10 years in related Systems Engineering or multi-disciplined engineering.
• Proven experience leading multidisciplinary systems engineering teams.
• Integration/test or sustainment background valued.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate across HW, SW and test capabilities to ensure interface integrity and design cohesion.
• Provide technical leadership and coordination across IPTs/CPTs.
• Verify system requirements and support program-level design decisions.
• Prepare and deliver technical presentations to internal and external customers.
