Job summary

RTX is seeking a Systems Engineer II to join the Systems Engineering and Test Capabilities discipline, supporting LTAMDS and GhostEye Radars. You will develop requirements, lead testing, troubleshoot complex issues, and collaborate across teams to ensure seamless system performance.

This onsite role requires STEM background with 2+ years of experience, proficiency in MATLAB/C++, and the ability to travel up to 20% to RTX facilities and customer locations.

Qualifications

• Typically requires a degree in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM) and a minimum of 2 years of prior relevant experience.
• Experience with model-based engineering.

Responsibilities

• Develop requirements and algorithms, concepts of operations, and define system interfaces.
• Lead testing efforts with test plans, procedures, integration, and verification documentation.
• Troubleshoot hardware, software, and system issues through data analysis and debugging.
• Drive system performance improvements across functions.
• Develop and execute models to predict system performance and support verification and validation.
• Integrate hardware and software into tactical systems and evaluate functionality.
• Communicate results to leadership and stakeholders.
• Perform statistical and numerical analysis of radar performance data.
