Job summary

Vibra Permanent Staffing – Direct Hire Opportunity with Louisiana Extended Care Hospital – Lafayette invites experienced Registered Nurses to join a dedicated LTAC team. This facility in Lafayette, LA offers full-time night shifts and a chance to work with medically complex patients in a specialty setting.

As an RN, you will provide direct patient care, collaborate with an interdisciplinary team, monitor progress, and educate families.

Qualifications

• Active RN license in Louisiana or a compact state.
• 1+ year of acute care, ICU, LTAC experience preferred.
• BLS certification required; ACLS within 90 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct nursing care to critically ill or medically complex patients.
• Collaborate with physicians and an interdisciplinary team to coordinate individualized care plans.
• Monitor patient progress, administer medications and treatments, and document clinical findings.
• Educate patients and families, and advocate for long-term health and recovery.
• Maintain compliance with all policies, standards, and regulatory guidelines.

Skills

Current BLS certification

Current ACLS certification
