Job summary

Ro Health is seeking a dedicated Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our healthcare team at a Veterans Home in Arizona. This role focuses on delivering safe, patient-centered care while coordinating with RNs and physicians to support residents.

You will administer medications, monitor health status, supervise CNAs, and ensure compliance with state regulations in a full-time, 6am-6:30pm rotating schedule. This position offers stable hours within a respected healthcare network.

Qualifications

• At least 6 months of LPN experience required; 1 year preferred.
• Ability to supervise and train subordinate staff in a healthcare setting.
• Experience with AMS or similar management systems is a plus.
• Commitment to providing compassionate, resident-focused care.

Responsibilities

• Administering medications and treatments as prescribed.
• Monitoring vital signs and assessing residents' conditions.
• Providing wound care and dressing changes.
• Assisting with IV therapy and catheter care (if permitted by state regulations).
• Documenting residents’ health status and reporting changes to RNs or physicians.
• Supervising CNAs and other support staff.
• Assisting residents with activities of daily living (ADLs) as needed.
• Educating residents and families on care plans and health conditions.
• Ensuring compliance with facility policies and state regulations.
