Job summary

Ro Health, LLC is seeking an experienced Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our healthcare team at a Veterans Home in Arizona. The role involves overseeing subordinate staff, administering medications, and ensuring a safe, therapeutic environment.

The position offers 6am-6:30pm or 6pm-6:30am shifts, with per diem or full-time options and a rotating schedule. Experience in AMS is a plus, and compassionate, resident-focused care is essential.

Qualifications

• Minimum 6 months of LPN experience; 1 year preferred.
• Ability to supervise and train subordinate staff in a healthcare setting.
• Experience with AMS or similar management systems is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
• Monitor vital signs and assess residents' conditions.
• Provide wound care and dressing changes.
• Assist with IV therapy and catheter care as permitted by state regulations.
• Document residents' health status and report changes to RNs or physicians.
• Supervise CNAs and other support staff.
• Assist residents with activities of daily living (ADLs).
• Educate residents and families on care plans and health conditions.
• Ensure compliance with facility policies and state regulations.
