Job summary

Ro Health is seeking a dedicated Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join a Veterans Home in Arizona. The role emphasizes safe, therapeutic resident care while supervising subordinate staff within a caring team.

You will administer medications, monitor vital signs, provide wound care, and assist with ADLs, ensuring compliance with policies and state regulations. The schedule is 6am–6:30pm with rotating weeks of 36 and 48 hours, and weekend availability is required.

Qualifications

• At least 6 months of LPN experience; 1 year preferred.
• Ability to supervise and train subordinate staff in a healthcare setting.
• Experience with AMS or similar management systems is a plus.
• Commitment to providing compassionate, resident-focused care.

Responsibilities

• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
• Monitor vital signs and assess residents' conditions.
• Provide wound care and dressing changes.
• Assist with IV therapy and catheter care (if permitted by state regulations).
• Document residents' health status and report changes to RNs or physicians.
• Supervise CNAs and other support staff.
• Assist residents with activities of daily living (ADLs).
• Educate residents and families on care plans and health conditions.
• Ensure compliance with facility policies and state regulations.

Details

• 6am-6:30pm
• rotating schedule: 36 hours one week, then 48 hours the next
• Must be open to weekends
