Job summary

Ro Health, LLC is seeking a compassionate Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to join our healthcare team at a Veterans Home in Arizona. The role focuses on creating a safe, therapeutic, and hygienic environment while delivering efficient, resident-centered care.

The shift options include 6pm-6:30am or 6am-6:30pm with a rotating schedule of 36 hours one week and 48 hours the next. Weekends availability is required to support residents and teams.

Qualifications

• Must have at least 6 months of CNA experience; 1 year preferred.
• Prior experience in a nursing home or long-term facility is a plus.
• Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification required.
• Strong commitment to high-quality care in a healthcare setting.
• Willingness to learn and apply management systems such as AMS.
• Passion for delivering compassionate, resident-focused care.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with activities of daily living (ADLs) such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting.
• Transfer and position residents using proper techniques and equipment (e.g., Hoyer lifts).
• Feed residents and monitor nutritional intake.
• Take and record vital signs (blood pressure, pulse, temperature, respiration).
• Observe and report changes in residents' conditions to nurses.
• Assist with mobility and range-of-motion exercises.
• Maintain cleanliness in residents' rooms and common areas.
• Provide emotional support and companionship to veterans.
• Document care and follow facility policies and procedures.
