Job summary

Regency at Westland in Michigan is seeking an attentive Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our skilled nursing and short-term rehabilitation care team. You will plan, coordinate and deliver nursing care, supervise CNAs, administer medications, monitor residents, and communicate with physicians to adjust care plans as needed.

Candidates should have 1–3 years of experience in long-term care, an active LPN license in Michigan, and CPR certification.

Qualifications

• 1–3 years of experience in a long-term care setting preferred.
• Current LPN licensure in the state of Michigan.
• CPR certification is required.

Responsibilities

• Plan, coordinate, provide and manage nursing care and health education for guests.
• Supervise care provided by CNAs/STNAs and other team members.
• Provide safe and accurate medication-related interventions.
• Assess health status and promptly notify physician; implement new orders.
• Contribute to assessment and development of plan of care (MDS/CAA).
