Job summary

Regency Heights-Detroit, part of Ciena Healthcare, is seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to provide and oversee resident care during assigned shifts in accordance with federal, state, and local regulations and facility policy under the supervision of the Director of Nursing. This role provides clinical supervision to nursing assistants and ensures continuity of care.

The LPN will supervise CNAs/STNAs, plan and direct work to meet resident needs, and coordinate staffing while upholding

Qualifications

Current LPN license in the state of Michigan.
CPR certification or CPR certification within 90 days of employment.

Responsibilities

Supervises CNAs/STNAs and other staff providing direct care.
Plans, assigns, and directs work in alignment with resident needs and staff capabilities.
Prepares work assignments, adjusting for staffing levels and resident safety.
Receives staffing-related calls and arranges replacements as needed.
Transfers employees among units per staffing demands.
Completes performance evaluations for CNAs/STNAs.
Adjusts break schedules and resolves staff concerns.
Use independent judgment in accordance with company policies and applicable laws.
