Job summary

Good Samaritan in Miller, SD seeks a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to provide professional nursing care in long-term care settings under supervision. The role requires graduation from an accredited LPN program with licensure; an associate degree is preferred.

This is a full-time, day-shift position with a 12-hour shift and about 30 weekly hours. You will administer medications, document patient care, and collaborate with an interdisciplinary team to ensure resident safety and wellbeing.

Qualifications

• Graduate from an accredited practical nursing program as a Licensed Practical Nurse.
• Associate degree in practical nursing is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provides professional nursing care for residents under supervision in long-term care.

• Contributes to resident assessment and collaborates with the interdisciplinary care team.
• Maintains confidentiality and supports resident education and self-care plans.
