Qualifications

• Graduate from an accredited practical nursing program and hold an unencumbered LPN license.
• Associate degree in practical nursing is preferred.
• IV therapy/management certification may be required in some jurisdictions.
• Maintains required CEUs and competency training.

Responsibilities

• Provide professional nursing care for residents in long-term care under supervision.
• Administer medications and treatments as ordered; contribute to care plans.
• Document resident interactions and outcomes; maintain confidentiality.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team to ensure resident health and safety.
