Job summary

The Good Samaritan Society in De Smet, SD is seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to provide professional nursing care for residents in our long-term care setting. Under supervision, you will perform nursing duties, administer medications, and contribute to the care plan to ensure comfort and safety.

You will document care and collaborate with a team to meet residents' needs, while upholding confidentiality and compassionate service in a not-for-profit, faith-based environment.

Qualifications

• Graduate from an accredited practical nursing program and hold an LPN license.
• IV therapy/management may be required in North Dakota if applicable.
• Maintain CEU and competency training as required by the facility.

Responsibilities

• Provide professional nursing care for residents in long-term care.
• Administer medications and treatments as ordered.
• Document resident interactions, outcomes, and care plans.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team and communicate with residents and families.
