Job summary

The Good Samaritan Society in De Smet, SD is seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) for full-time day shifts. You will provide skilled nursing care to residents in a Christian, not-for-profit setting and work under supervision to ensure safety, comfort and quality care. Experience in long-term care and medication administration is valued.

Candidates should have an LPN license and an associate degree is preferred. A sign-on bonus and comprehensive benefits are offered.

Qualifications

• Graduate from an accredited practical nursing program and hold an LPN license.
• Unencumbered license and required CEU/competencies as per dept.
• IV therapy requirements per state regulations if applicable.

Responsibilities

• Provide professional nursing care for residents in long-term care.
• Administer medications and treatments as ordered.
• Document resident interactions and care outcomes per care plan.
• Collaborate with nurses, physicians and staff for resident care.
