Benchmark Senior Living invites compassionate Licensed Practical Nurses (LPN) to join our Massachusetts team. You will deliver nursing care in a warm, home-like environment and collaborate with a dedicated team to foster lasting resident relationships.

Roles include supervising Resident Care Assistants, coordinating care, and ensuring accurate documentation while adhering to state regulations and safety standards.

Qualifications

• Current state license as an LPN and CPR certification.
• Graduate of an approved LPN program (per state requirements).
• Minimum of 1 to 2 years of experience working as a nurse preferred.
• Previous experience working with the elderly in a paid or volunteer position is highly desirable.

Responsibilities

• Accurately assesses, communicates, and documents residents’ status.
• Observes and reports changes in resident health to the care team per state regulations.
• Directs and supervises daily work assignments of Resident Care Assistants.
• Mentors and directs Lead Resident Care Assistants in all aspects of their job.
• Coordinates care needs with community providers via case management.
• Balances service demands with supporting resident independence.
• Recognizes and reports elder abuse or neglect per state regulations.
• Responds to emergencies and uses personal emergency response system appropriately.
