AltaPointe Health is hiring a licensed practical nurse or registered nurse for our Behavioral Health Crisis Center in Mobile, Alabama. The role involves delivering direct nursing care, medication administration, patient assessments, and collaboration with a multidisciplinary team to ensure immediate crisis intervention and de-escalation.

The ideal candidate holds an Alabama LPN or RN license, with knowledge of psychiatric care across adult and/or youth populations.

Qualifications

• LPN or RN license in Alabama required.
• Knowledge of psychiatric disorders in adults and/or children; improvement within six months of employment.
• Crisis intervention and de-escalation knowledge, including non-violent techniques.
• COVID-19 vaccination required or approved accommodation.

Responsabilités

• Provide nursing care and monitor vital signs; administer medications per Six Rights.
• Document observations and collaborate with the Treatment Team during shifts.
• Assist with admissions and care plans; coordinate with multidisciplinary staff.
• Respond to emergencies and provide patient safety measures as needed.
