Qualifications

- Current license in the state of employment as an LPN
- IV Certification and CPR/AED Certification or willingness to obtain within six months
- Excellent communication skills to interact with residents, families and staff
- Ability to assess basic nursing care needs of geriatric residents and participate in care planning
Responsibilities
- Provide basic nursing care and assess residents on admission and ongoing basis
- Communicate any significant changes to the IDT and update the care plan
- Administer medications and treatments in a safe and timely manner
- Document interventions accurately and timely
- Answer call lights and assist with ADLs as needed
- Participate in QAPI process and ongoing Nursing Education
