Job summary

Bethesda Health Group’s Memorial Care Center in Belleville, IL is seeking a licensed practical nurse (LPN) for rehab. This full-time role starts early and runs 6:30am–7:00pm, requiring IV and CPR/AED certification and strong nursing judgment to support geriatric residents.

You will assess residents, document findings, participate in care planning, and administer medications per orders, ensuring safe, timely interventions and quality care in a team setting.

Qualifications

• Education from an accredited school of nursing resulting in LPN licensure.
• Current license in the state of practice.
• IV Certification required or willing to obtain within six months of employment.
• CPR/AED Certification required or willing to obtain within six months of employment.
• Ability to assess basic nursing care needs of geriatric residents.
• Excellent communication and time management skills.
• Critical thinking skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide basic nursing care and assess residents on admission and ongoing basis.
• Document assessments accurately and timely; communicate with IDT and families.
• Participate in care planning and update plans as interventions change.
• Carry out nursing interventions, including physician orders and education.
• Administer medications and IV fluids if IV certified; monitor safety.
• Respond to call lights and assist with residents' ADLs as needed.
